How to Use Zipps TopBase21
- Apply a thin layer of TopBase21 to the ski base. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
- Remove any excess product using a fibre paper towel.
- While the fluoropolymer is still wet, brush 2–3 times in the direction of glide using a Zipps natural bristle brush (with a rotary brush, one forward-and-back pass is sufficient).
- Once the polymer has dried, brush 2–3 times in the direction of glide using a Zipps fine nylon brush (with a rotary brush, one forward-and-back pass is sufficient).
- Allow the surface to dry completely. You can then apply the appropriate glide wax for the day's snow conditions.
- Continue preparing the skis according to the standard Zipps waxing procedure: apply two layers of glide wax or powder (emulsion).
Cleaning: Use ZIPPS Citric Cleaner to thoroughly clean the ski base. Then repeat the preparation process from the beginning to protect the base against oxidation.
