Nordic Ice skates are a fun alternative to skis, when the snow cover is too thin for skiing. There may not even be any snow, but as soon as the lakes freeze, you can ski across the ice as if you were on skis.
The screwable bindings you use for XC skiing, will fit nordic ice skates too!
These ice skis already come with drilled holes for mounting the bindings.
You won't need to buy new boots for this activity! - you can use the same cross-country ski boots, but the boots must be designed for the skating style (with a high and sturdy boot). We recommend using boots with a carbon fiber cuff.
