"Maintenance of 'Skin', 'Zero', 'Nanogrip' and other microzones
Skin type skis must be impregnated before use. Only then will the mohair layer, popularly known as the "coat", not trap moisture, collect dirt and perform its function for a long time. The best skin impregnators are the solid ones - they do not collect dirt.
The Zero zone also needs to be impregnated to prevent it from absorbing moisture. This is done by rubbing in fluorine powder, or by using special treatments such as a fluoride powder. Zipps Zero.
Nanogrip/Optigrip skis do not require any maintenance, but under certain conditions, usually snowfall, they can get stuck. In this case, the micronon is coated with a type of treatment such as Zipps Anti Eis or Zipps GR New Snow, a multi-purpose treatment that is also suitable for use on normal skis.
